Since 2016, the band from Franconia has been impressing in the symphonic metal genre with the glamorous vocals of graceful frontwoman Tamara Amedov, accompanied by melodic, hard guitar riffs and sensational orchestral elements.

With their new album: "Harrowing Insight", the band from Franconia, Germany, captivates the listener with cinematic orchestra & dark metal, but this time also with electronic, modern and especially groovy sounds. Add a pinch of oriental spice and you have a charismatic third studio album, recorded and produced by Timon Seidl at Red Audio Studio. Also on board was keyboardist Michael Rodenberg, known for his work with Angra, Shaaman, Luca Turilli, Rhapsody of Fire, Kamelot and Heavens Gate. This time he was also responsible for the mastering. As before, Olaf Reitmeier of Gate Studio, who has already worked with metal greats such as Avantasia, Kamelot and Epica, was responsible for the mix.

Fans of Nightwish, Epica and Delain will get their money's worth. The band still has its own unmistakable DNA! Tamara's vocals have also evolved. On this album she also shows her fangs, daring to use screams and growls and showing off her impressive vocal technique.

Unlike the previous albums "Force Of Luna" and "Enigma Fire", which were both very orchestral, the new album convinces with simpler orchestral elements, a more drastic guitar sound and darker drama. It deals with no less dark themes such as Abuse, self-discovery, trauma and dark romantasy. Starting with the intro: "The Mirror", the band takes their fans into another, dark world with mystical sounds and whispers in an unknown language!

With the opening song: "Wolfman", the band creates a grandiose successor to the popular and very first single: "She Wolf". The song is no less powerful and dark: "Sympathy for the Devil" tells about the Stockholm Syndrome in an imaginative, romantic and dark way. It also features the distinctive and strong voice of bassist Tim Zahn. The oriental song "Scheherazade" invites you to dance and tells the legend of the Persian princess Scheherazade, who was the only woman to stop the murderous sultan from killing her. Fucking Seducer" is pure female power! Tamara Amedov and Ambre Vourvahis from Xandria deliver a fabulous duet. Powerful screams and growls are mercilessly presented to the listener. The song "Psychopaths" grooves like crazy. Modern sounds meet heavy metal. Especially the catchy and rhythmic chorus is absolutely captivating. Bondage for the ears is the name of the game with "Super masochistic, so sadistic, feministic". Here fans get an intimate insight into a dark romance fantasy.

Modern electronic sounds meet hard, deep guitar riffs. The fast and furious song "Paralyzed" is intimate and very personal. The lyrics are brutal and the singer wants to convey the very oppressive feeling you have to deal with when you have experienced abuse. In this song, the gripping drama is so present that it shakes you to your core. Flashback is about a traumatic experience being processed. The moving melodies are combined with phenomenal guitar solos. The lyrics are mainly about the darknet. The crowning finale is the heartbreaking ballad "Inside", probably Tamara Amedov's most personal song. It deals with the traumas she has experienced and her struggle with herself.

All in all, "Harrowing Insight" is an emotionally charged hammer that will definitely blow you away and convince you. The lyrics are bold and sometimes even provocative, but with a focus on moral values! The album will further expand VISIONATICA's enthusiastic fan base worldwide.
